Salary: Up to £42,000 p.a.

The Opportunity 

If Birmingham has a social heartbeat, Brindleyplace is where it thumps loudest and right in the centre of it all sits Be At One. With canalside views, office crowds spilling in after work, weekend groups ready to celebrate anything and everything, and plenty of footfall from the wider nightlife circuit.

Be At One Brindley Place is known for exactly what you’d expect: great cocktails, great tunes, a team who love what they do, and an atmosphere that very rarely dips below party mode. Happy Hour keeps the early evenings lively, late‑night energy carries the momentum, and our masterclasses, group bookings and weekend rushes make it a venue that rarely sits still. It’s part of a strong network of late‑night brands across the city too, so there’s plenty of collaboration, shared events and joint efforts to keep Birmingham’s nights out buzzing.

Inside, the open‑plan layout means you’ve always got eyes on the action, perfect for high‑volume service and keeping the vibe upbeat. The central bar acts as the heartbeat of the room, bringing team and guests together in one big flow of cocktail‑making, dancing and general good times. Step outside and you’ll find a large front that’s been recently refreshed. On warm evenings, it quickly fills up and creates that all‑important first impression as people wander along the canals.

About You 

As General Manager, you’ll take full ownership of this already well‑loved venue. You’ll be the person who builds the plan, leads the team, drives the numbers and sets the tone. Your job is to squeeze the most out of every trading opportunity, whether that’s a busy Friday night or a midweek Happy Hour that turns into a full‑house evening. Strong local marketing, smart planning and confident in‑venue execution will be your best tools here.

You’ll shape a team who love being part of the buzz, keeping standards sharp and the service warm and memorable. You’ll lead from the front on peak nights, make sure the bar is set up to win, and keep everything running safely, smoothly and profitably from open to close.
